2. In the process of planing T-slots, pay attention to the non-cutting part of the tool not to rub or collide with the cast iron plate, so as to avoid accidents or waste products.
3. At the end of each cutting stroke and the beginning of the return stroke, the planer should be lifted out of the groove. Therefore, the front and rear overtravel should be appropriately enlarged, so that there is ample room and space to lift or drop the knife.
