Technical requirements for cast iron box tables

1. The cast iron box table should be made of gray cast iron HT200-300, and its working surface hardness should be 170240HB.

  

2. The working surface of the cast iron box table shall not have any defects such as pores, sand holes, cracks, slag inclusions, shrinkage, embroidering points, scratches, bruises, etc. that seriously affect the appearance and performance of the work.   

 

3. The working surface of the cast iron box table usually adopts the scraping process, and the allowable value of the surface roughness Ra is 3.2μm.   

 

4. Sand holes with a diameter of more than 15mm are not allowed on the working surface of cast iron box table with an accuracy of 0 to 3, and sand holes with a diameter of less than 15mm are allowed to be repaired according to the standard.   

 

5. The entire working face of the cast iron box table should have no more than 4 blisters, and the distance between the blisters should not be less than 80mm.   

 

6. The non-working surface of the cast iron box table should be cleaned and smooth and allowed to be painted. It is cast with rounded corners R20.   

 

7. On the two opposite sides of the cast iron box table, there should be φ80 cylinders or lifting holes, and the position should be designed to minimize the deformation caused by handling.   

 

8. The cast iron box table should be tempered not less than once (artificial aging treatment) before leaving the factory.
