2. Welding repair of cast iron surface plate, dig out the metal in the defective area, weld the defective area with the same or compatible electrode as the plate metal, repair the defective area after welding, and perform post-weld heat treatment.
3. For cast iron surface plate under liquid or gas pressure, partial or overall impregnation treatment can be carried out to improve the sealing performance of the castings.
For example, the cast iron welding platform is used for the basic plate of the riveting process. There are holes and T-slots on the working surface, and the holes are mainly used to clean parts. There are also flat welding plates/surface plates, that is, no holes and no grooves. Therefore, if the welding platform is deformed, it will cause inaccuracy in mechanical measurement or inspection, so the maintenance of the cast iron surface plate is very important.
